Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
When I joined the military in 1982, I was a snotty nosed kid with no direction. 7 years later, I left the military with ambition, discipline, drive, and a sense of importance that I didn't have before. I realized that I do make a difference, and I still, and always will strive for that goal. When I left the army in 1989, I worked for Mass Transit St. Louis for 25 years, retired from there, and started Recycled Granite St. Louis. My years in the army gave me the strength to believe in myself!!!
