Financial Assistance for Military Experiencing Divorce (FAMED) supports active military parents with a pay scale of E1-E6 who are currently experiencing the emotional and financial crisis of divorce. FAMED provides financial support to help reduce the stress of unexpected expenses associated with domestic litigation by providing grants to help pay for legal fees, housing deposits, and non-military counseling. Our mission is to help keep parents connected to their children during these trying times.

With 49,000 families experiencing divorce each year, and a personal experience spotlighting the emotional, mental, and financial toll this takes on our heroes, FAMED was formed as a way of keeping our heroes connected to their children. Depression resulting from separation and bankruptcy are contributing factors to the 22 veteran suicides each day. At FAMED, we take a proactive approach.
