The US Air Force taught me discipline and attention to detail. Working around explosives required these attributes. I also learned about patriotism. A short duty as a Security Police troop led to taking the Flag down every day. I eagerly took the duty. All this has come together to make my senior years have meaning assisting other seniors with their patriotic flag displays.
