Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I use the knowledge I gained as an engineer on a Navy ship everyday in this business. My company operates a fleet of 120 trucks and trailers as well as a bunch of processing equipment, all of which needs maintenance and repair from time to time. Onboard ship, I had a poster above my desk that read "Semper Gumby - Always Flexible." I have that same poster above my desk today - we're always having to improvise, adapt and overcome, something the Navy taught me well.
