The naming of our business, Seventeen Seventy Eight LLC is in reference to and in honor of my 7th great grandfather, John Jarvis Jr. who in the year 1778 swore to the Maryland Oath of Fidelity, disavowing all ties with the British crown. While we specialize in 18th and 19th century firearms, we also offer cleaning and repair of modern firearms. We are licensed to build firearms for sale.
