I spent my Army career as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician and then as a CID Special Agent. Both jobs run on the same rules: show up when you said you would, follow the procedure every time, document what you did, and own the result. A pet waste route is not bomb disposal, but the standard is the same. The schedule holds, the report goes out after every visit, and nobody has to wonder whether the work got done. That is what my service built, and it is how Retriever runs.
